Dr. Do, a visiting researcher from South Korea, currently works at the Rural Research Institution of the Korea Rural Community Corporation (KRC), a government-affiliated organization dedicated to improving farming infrastructure and supplying agricultural water for Korean farmers. Dr. Do has actively contributed to the establishment of the National Water Management Master Plan and major Watershed Management Comprehensive Plans in Korea, with a specific focus on agricultural water. His research centers on developing future agricultural water management plans, drawing comparisons between California and Korea's respective water management strategies and policies. Dr. Do is also instrumental in fostering collaborative opportunities between UC Davis and Korea in the realm of agricultural water management research. His efforts are geared towards enhancing the efficiency and sustainability of agricultural water use, thereby promoting the adoption of innovative water management practices applicable both domestically and internationally.
