Krista Blide is a fifth-year Biological and Agricultural Engineering undergraduate at the University of California, Davis. Her research, before joining the Kisekka lab, focused on groundwater extraction in East Africa that involved both Electrical Resistivity Tomography and ArcGIS. Currently, she is assisting both graduate students and postdocs by collecting data in the field for the development of hydrological models to help design more conservative irrigation systems. Her interests remain in water management and sustainable rural development.
